Hostel opening and closing checklist
For hostel owners and managers who run a 24-hour desk with a mix of staff, volunteers and new arrivals. Print it, pin it behind reception, or run it in Skorops so every completion is timestamped and scored.

How to use it
- Give every task one owner. Write the role, not the person, so the list survives turnover.
- Set a time, not a shift. Before 08:00 gets done; morning gets discussed.
- Points signal priority. Cash and guest safety carry the most; restocking maps the fewest.
- Photo proof marks the tasks where a tick alone is not evidence.
Template questions
Can I edit the checklist?
Yes. The PDF is a starting point. In Skorops every task, time and point value is editable, and the list can differ per property.
What is the difference between the PDF and running it in Skorops?
The PDF is paper: no owner record, no timestamp, no photo. In Skorops each tick is timestamped against a person, photos attach to the task, and scores update live.
Run it with scoring, photo proof and timestamps.
